Response to Mazer

After reading the story Mazer wrote I would say that I have a neutral stance on this issue. I didn’t find the story to hard to read as I thought because what was said in class. To me I think that the Power Team is taking the wrong approach to get more followers of God. It gives off a false impression to what believing in God means. I believe in him and I can’t break through steel chains and through blocks of ice. Although, I can see a lot of people attending this because it is exciting, almost more like going to watch Chris Angel. Which is not the point here, many people might join under false pretences and not be able to do these things and stop the believing because they cannot do these tasks. Also, if people are this gullible, it’s their own fault. Otherwise, they’re going to watch a show, than become a believer in God. That’s probably why this method works better than attending a church mass. It does seem like the whole part of the Power Team is a lure and you can see it coming from a mile away.
